myhermes improves web service for SME's with Shopify Integration
myHermes, the consumer delivery specialist, has enhanced the functionality of its website to provide added convenience and choice for SMEs. Shopify follows ebay, Amazon and ChannelAdvisor as the latest e-commerce platform to be fully integrated with the website. Additional improvements include the introduction of the time-saving Quick Send feature.
Shopify is a web-based shop front allowing SMEs and internet-based retailers to create their own online customisable stores. The integration will allow Shopify’s customers to import, ship and receive confirmation of their orders.
In addition, myHermes has updated its website to include the Quick Send functionality, which allows customers to send a number of parcels of a similar type quicker than ever before. The new feature, which is available to all users of the myHermes service, reduces the number of pages a customer has to access to send an item. The website update also includes enhanced label printing options, as well as the choice to hide or remove any parcels from the ‘My Shipments Page’.
Carole Woodhead, CEO of myHermes, said: “Innovation remains at the heart of the myHermes business and we are constantly striving to improve the range of services we provide to our customers both offline and online. We are aware that many SMEs and internet-based retailers work tirelessly around the clock to provide their customers with exceptional levels of service. By investing in the development of the website our customers will benefit from an improved and more efficient platform.”
