Ctrack enhances mobile tracking solution with driver app

Fleet drivers will now be able to access a detailed analysis of their driving style and performance using simple application on their smartphone. Ctrack has expanded its Mobi2 real-time fleet management driver feedback and business private mileage solution, so employees can take advantage of useful driving tools and view personal driver behaviour feedback.

Ctrack Mobi2 was originally launched to provide fleet managers with the ability monitor the location and status of vehicles from a mobile when they are away from the office, with no access to a laptop or PC. The latest version of the tracking app will also have a driver setting to create a useful support tool and an effective means of communicating feedback to staff working remotely.

The driver app, suitable for Apple, Android, Microsoft and some touchscreen Blackberry devices, will enable employees to view driver behaviour feedback, including individual analysis of their performance, to encourage improvements in driving techniques. In addition, they will also be able to allocate business / private mileage and add trip notes to the central tracking system, as well as use the route planning functionality with distance, travel time, directions and live traffic data.
