Inner Range and Classic Security Solutions future-proof security at Tottenham Hotspur's state-of-the-art training academy

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club was to construct an all-round state-of-the-art training academy, on a 77 acre site at Bulls Cross, Essex. This new facility would be where first, reserve sides and younger academy teams could train to the highest standards, in a well-equipped, comfortable and secure environment. Classic Security Solutions, the contractor assigned by the club, required an integrator who would be able to deliver an intelligent integrated system capable of managing and controlling security, access and building management solutions from multiple vendors as well as provision a future-proof and scalable solution, enabling further expansion and integration capabilities.

Tottenham Hotspur's 77 acre training academy is in the safest of hands - security wise. Using sophisticated all-weather biometric keypads and RFID wristbands - all intelligently managed and controlled via Inner Range integrated security systems - first team players and academy team members can gain permission-based access to the site and its hi-tech facilities.

Due to the differing needs of players, it was critical for the football club to be able to deliver two different access control options, both managed by one system. Working with Inner Range Europe, Classic Security Solutions, the main contractor for this impressive build was able to fulfil the club's requirements. For first team players, a sturdy biometrics system was implemented that would be 100% effective with muddied hands and in all-weather. For academy team members, RFID wristband technology ensured access control didn't infringe their game. Both systems which are manufactured by IEVO and IDENTEC respectively are integrated within an Inner Range intelligent security solution, capable of managing and controlling access control, security and building automation for the entire site - and beyond.

"The sky's the limit when it comes to our intelligent security systems." Says Tim Northwood, General Manager of Inner Range Europe.

Northwood continues: "Customers choose our technologies because they deliver on all counts; they are robust, scalable and what's more have mind-blowing integration capabilities not just in terms of your security, but also for building automation. Whatever your wish list is we are willing to rise to the challenge."

Classic Security Solutions, the main contractor for this impressive new-build, already has plans to introduce RFID tagging for all high-value equipment stored at the site which will deliver instant notification to security staff if there is an unauthorised attempt to move an asset within or off site.

Says Ray Anderson of Classic Security Solutions: "The valuable input from the Inner Range integration team coupled with their Concept and Insight security solutions have enabled us to not only deliver all of the football club's current access control needs, but ensure the site is future-proofed; allowing for the implementation of further security and building automation systems as and when required."
