Unterfoehring, Dec. 06, 2013 — SimonsVoss Technologies GmbH has received factory certification from Lenel Systems International for the OnGuard® access control system on its Digital Locking and Access Control System 3060. SimonsVoss is officially certified by Lenel as an OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP) partner for that solution. Lenel, a market leader in access control security, is a part of UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

The certification allows end users to configure SimonsVoss® locks, create access levels based on the configuration and assign them to badge holders in OnGuard. This information is transferred via the interface to the SimonsVoss database and then to the locking devices (cylinders, smart handles or readers).

SimonsVoss has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard,” said Gidon Lissai, director of strategic alliances, Lenel. “We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”

“Lenel is the first partner with whom we are advancing our new business field of system integration, thus enabling us to acquire more international partners and projects,” said Oliver Quaisser, director of integration at SimonsVoss.
