The William Tracey Group sign Partnership with Pharmaceutical Services Company

The William Tracey Group is pleased to announce a formal partnering with Shasun Pharma Solutions Ltd. in Dudley Cramlington, Northumberland as part of a growth strategy to expand the company's customer base in the North East of England. Together the William Tracey Group and Shasun have invested in the existing sophisticated Biological Treatment plant based at Shasun's manufacturing site in Dudley. The treatment plant was originally designed to treat pharmaceutical waste and is ideal for a wide range of waste streams - in particular those from the Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Food & Drink Industries. The facility offers a safe alternative treatment for many materials that would have traditionally been incinerated - making it both environmentally and commercially beneficial.

The partnership brings together specialist skill sets from both parties and merges Shasun's pharmaceutical experience and knowledge with William Tracey Group's proven biological treatment expertise. The systems and processes of the treatment operation are consistent with Shasun's existing FDA approved standards. This means that the treatment plant operates under stringent pharmaceutical compliance and legislative rules and customers can be assured that they are dealing with a company that take compliance seriously and recognises it's responsibility to the environment and health & safety.

As market leaders in their respective industries, The William Tracey Group and Shasun Pharma Solutions have been successful in developing a service that adds to an already extensive range of treatment and disposal options, operated by William Tracey's existing Specialist Waste Division.

This type of commercial partnership between a Pharmaceutical manufacturer and Waste Management company is thought to be a first in the UK.
