PMP seen as Ideal Choice for Leading Retailer

PMP, part of Cordant Group, has been awarded a five-year contract to provide an integrated managed services for Ideal Shopping Direct across the multi-channel retailer’s two sites in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
 
Under the terms of the deal, PMP will self deliver various security, cleaning, waste management, catering and reception services at Ideal Shopping Direct’s premises in Newark Road, which includes a contact centre, offices and a fulfilment centre, as well as at its premises in Sabre Way. The company will also provide on-site technical services that will see M&E and maintenance staff constructing different sets within the retailer’s production studio ahead of filming in Newark Road. The team will also deliver traditional maintenance services across both sites.
 
As per the agreement, PMP Recruitment, also part of Cordant Group, will also provide Ideal Shopping Direct with a temporary labour workforce as required, to support the retailer’s fulfilment and warehouse operations during periods of intense activity.
