PMP Recruitment's Knockout Day Raises £25k For Charity

Employees from PMP Recruitment, part of Cordant Group, basked in glorious sunshine as they raised in excess of £25,000 for two worthy charities at an action-packed family fun day in Stoke-on-Trent. Company employees, clients and suppliers tackled an inflatable assault course and a rodeo bull last Saturday (23rd June) as the funds poured in for Cancer Research and Unseen.

A team event on the inflatable assault course, which was modelled on the famous gameshow It’s a Knockout, was won by the ‘Bonnie Scots’. Fundraisers also enjoyed a sizzling BBQ, carnival games, a photobooth and a bouncy castle, whilst PMP’s Regional Director Wayne Shaw was gunged by enthusiastic colleagues.

Meanwhile, participants got their hands on a range of fantastic raffle prizes donated by organisations including: XPO Logistics, Indeed, Ocado, Kinnerton, Tesco, House of Fraser, Tangerine Confectionary, Modershall Oaks, Ideal Shopping, Mainman Supplies, The Hand & Flowers, Scope HR Solutions, Redwood Booking Agent, Abstract Recruitment, Corinthian Sports, KG Personnel, as well as other businesses across Cordant Group.

Jamie Reynolds, Managing Director at PMP Recruitment, said: “It was fantastic to invite our employees, clients and their families to Stoke-on-Trent to take part in this amazing day. We have raised a significant amount of money for two incredible charities, including valuable donations from those who couldn't attend but took part in our golden ticket draw and silent auction. A huge thanks to everybody that contributed to a very special event – we have been amazed by people’s generosity.”
