Staffordshire manufacturers on PR map
Midlands based technical PR agency Stone Junction will exhibit at the Manufacturing 2020 event taking place on April 4 at the Britannia Stadium, in Stoke-on-Trent. The agency will offer free one-to-one marketing and public relations advice to attendees.
The event is a celebration of Staffordshire’s manufacturing scene. It aims to bring together successful companies from the region and encourage the creation of a vibrant and interconnected manufacturing community.
Manufacturing 2020 will showcase several world-class businesses and discuss ways in which manufacturers can create jobs, generate more business opportunities and boost the regional economy. Participants will also be able to access useful information regarding new funding opportunities to improve employee skills and boost profitability.
Chris Carr, the deputy director of manufacturing, services and electronics from the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, will offer the Government’s view on advanced manufacturing – the use of innovative technology to improve products and processes.
Exhibitors and visitors are encouraged to visit Stone Junction’s stand to find out more about how marketing and PR can help grow manufacturing businesses, generate sales leads and build a reliable and unique brand. The agency has over eight years experience working with technical and engineering companies, with more than half of its clients coming from the manufacturing sector.
“It might seem like an odd place for a PR agency, but Manufacturing 2020 is exactly where we want to be this spring,” explained Richard Stone, managing director of Stone Junction. “The recent upward trend in UK manufacturing comes as a well-deserved boon after the hardships of the last four years. Manufacturers need to exploit the upsurge and one way of doing that is to use PR and marketing tools more effectively.
“Manufacturing companies can thrive by taking advantages of the opportunities other sectors - like IT or energy - are already exploiting,” continued Stone. “We’re keen to show regional manufacturers that marketing automation, online marketing and content creation are all essential tools that organically grow a business and increase profit.”
