While starting one business is hard, managing multiple businesses or streams of income can be more challenging. This feat requires lots of discipline and drive that many lack. Image consultant Mena Garcia is a rare entrepreneur who thrives in every role and can get those things done that others cannot.
 
Mena Garcia is a model, image consultant, and fashion and beauty entrepreneur. She moved to New York after high school, where she started modeling. She continues to model and loves it deeply. “As a model, I have lived in Los Angeles, Mumbai, and London,” Garcia said. “I love that my job allows me to see and experience different cultures. I meet plenty of new people and always have a blast.” When Garcia moved to London, she started working in image consulting. Image consultants work with people to improve their look, allowing them to have more social clout and get more jobs.
 
“I specialize in color. I can identify what color palette works best for people. I never tell them that they cannot wear a particular color, like red looks bad on them, but we work to find the best look for their skin tone, hair color, and body.” Mena is also in the process of launching her makeup and clothing brands. She is currently pursuing a fashion degree and cannot wait to bring her skills into the real world. “Makeup and fashion are fundamental to me. I have come to learn how hard it is to find sustainable quality products. I want to bring that to the world.”
 
Mena wants her fashion and makeup brands to be vegan and cruelty-free. She is passionate about nature and animals and refrains from contributing to industries that harm them. “I’ve been a vegetarian from a young age, and I believe that treating animals and the environment well is everyone’s responsibility.” Garcia also engages with nature through scuba diving practice. She is an instructor, and she has even saved a life while diving. She has combined her modeling career with scuba diving, doing underwater shoots that many models cannot. “I feel like a mermaid every time I take one of these jobs. I absolutely love it.”
 
Juggling many jobs can be tricky. However, Mena Garcia doesn’t plan to give up any of her passions any time soon, no matter how much effort and grit it takes.
