European Automation stocks and sells new, used, refurbished and obsolete industrial automation spares. From their Stafford offices the company supplies PLCs, servo drives, servo motors, HMIs, variable speed drives, CNC machine tool systems and robots to manufacturers across the world. An impressive multi-national, multi-lingual sales team covers Europe, the Middle East, North and South America offering worldwide express delivery on all products.

Following significant growth over the last two years, the management team at European Automation chose to appoint its first PR agency. The decision to award the account to Stone Junction was founded on the PR Company's strong relationships with the engineering trade press and understanding of European Automation's technology. "I can genuinely say that the people who work at our company really enjoy being here," explained Jon Wilkins, marketing manager at European Automation.

"The company benefits from a unique organizational culture; everybody is so driven and enthusiastic. This is how we are able to stay ahead in a very competitive industry, which is no mean feat in our constantly changing sector," he continued.

"It's this level of enthusiasm and commitment to our customers that allows us to achieve the incredible customer service exploits that we do. For instance, one of our staff recently met with a customer while on holiday in New York and, as a result, managed to ship a piece of equipment the size of a small room to Brazil on a very short lead time. This kind of message is really difficult to communicate using any medium other than the written word, which means PR is a good choice for us," concluded Wilkins.

"The great thing about European Automation is the positive attitude they bring to their work," explained Richard Stone, managing director of Stone Junction.

"They are an international player with hard working and wholehearted staff and we will do our upmost to reflect that in our work with them."
