Elesa has announced their GN732 plain shoulder screws with collar, together with their industry standard ISO 7379 version with polished bearing surface. These are commonly used throughout engineering to provide accurate fixing, while leaving a component free to move.

Typically they are found in industrial machines such as in print, textiles, manufacturing and agriculture. Collared shoulder screws may be used with DIN 444 eye screws, also with cranks and rod ends. In addition, the precision polished collar of the ISO 7379 type screw enables very precise location of two or more components in place of a normal machine screw – whereby the components are aligned on the collar and retained by the thread/nut assembly, giving a much more accurate assembly than a normal screw with clearance hole.

Collar sizes of 5mm to 24mm are available in lengths from 5mm to 100mm dependant on specification.
