Seven staff from Cheadle based SolutionsPT has been volunteering their time to help create a garden at the Royal Horticultural Society Tatton Flower Show on Thursday, July 14.

Entitled Embrace, the garden celebrated the 40th anniversary of St Ann's Hospice in Manchester and has been designed by up and coming garden designer Sharon Hockenhull. Embrace aims to capture the unique personality of one of the oldest hospices in the country. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, St Ann's Hospice is well-known for its unique approach to patient care. The Hospice helps around 3,000 patients affected by cancer and non-cancer life limiting illnesses every year.

The garden evoked the idea of a physical, emotional and spiritual embrace. The core idea of the piece is a vibrant sense of life that envelops people with positive, therapeutic experiences. In 2009 Hockenhull entered the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park, in Cheshire with 'Be Fruitful', a creation which was awarded a Silver-Gilt medal.

Phil Gillard, SolutionsPT's General Manager reflected on the project: "I believe that Hockenhull's Embrace concept achieves the objective of remembering the great work done at St Anne's hospice and would hope that the display has a real chance of doing well in the competition. We are very pleased to take part in such a creative venture."

The SolutionsPT team members who attended the show were Pat Cooper, Lesley Dickson, General Manager Phil Gillard, Kay Kinvig, Janet Legg, Neil Pearce and Jill White as well as Tracey Pearce, the partner of Neil Pearce. SolutionsPT was recently named one of the Sunday Times' Best 100 Companies to Work For.
