Henley-in-Arden, UK – 18 March 2014 – Lanner, a provider of simulation software proven to maximise performance and optimise resources, today announced details of its annual user conference which will be held at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Coventry on 25th March 2014. This year’s event features presentations from Ford, Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, as well as a number of universities covering case studies across the food, energy and manufacturing industries. At the event, Lanner will outline its latest product advancements, including its built-in Experimentation and Optimisation framework, and 3D visualisation, powered by technology partner Virtalis, which will form part of the upcoming WITNESS 14 release.

It will also provide a forum for predictive simulation professionals to share insights and best practice. In particular, sessions will look at how to go beyond day to day modelling to raise the profile of simulation successes across their organisation with a view to extending its value. A number of workshops will hone discussions on methods for faster, more impactful modelling and look at how a combination of enhanced project tools and internal communications strategies can pave the way to maximise business value from predictive simulation projects. “We are extremely proud of the value our customers see from their WITNESS simulation projects and our product strategy is focused on building enhancements which continuously increase this value,” comments David Jones, CEO, Lanner. “However we are frequently asked for help in extending the benefits of simulation to other areas of an organisation, going beyond modelling in a one-off project to creating persistent configurable simulation based planning tools that inform business decisions on a repeat basis.

Hence the focus of this year’s event is two-fold and will cover both product strategy and communications to help extend the value of simulation to new areas.” Ends About Lanner Lanner delivers predictive simulation technology, a key component of advanced analytics which allows organisations to harness big data, model complex processes and experiment with business decisions within a risk free, virtual environment.
