Midlands-based manufacturer JA Envirotanks today announced it has supplied two structural underbelly tanks for use at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, installed via Musgrave Generators.

The installation of the two 35,000 litre tanks is part of a six-figure project at the hospital and will ensure the availability and security of fuel for generators on site.

Part of the OSSL Group, JA Envirotanks is a leading manufacturer of bunded steel tanks for use in various industrial and construction applications. With a heritage reaching back to 1845, JA Envirotanks has been a partner of Musgrave Generators since 2015.

“Few people ever consider the infrastructure needed to ensure power and business continuity at sites such as a hospital,” added Neil Ferguson, director, JA Envirotanks.  “As such, despite their size, these tanks are often invisible until they are needed.  But when they are called into action, the design, rugged construction and precise engineering mean that vital facilities such as Birmingham Women’s Hospital can continue their critical work.”
