Ashley Anderson wanted to add the showroom to the site to take advantage of the proximity to the Merryhill shopping centre. The showroom is part of a significant development at the site, including a new glass front to the building, to make the most of available warehouse space and target retail footfall in the local area.

DMF Projects handled every aspect of the fit out including all flooring, walls, air conditioning, lighting, electrical and fire cladding requirements to create the self contained retail unit. The mezzanine floor, measuring 11.5 x 7.7 metres created 950 sq ft of additional space, doubling the retail and storage space available to Ashley Anderson. DMF Projects also handled the application process for the building control approval.

Simon Townsend, Operations Director at Ashley Anderson: "We took the decision to supplement our existing online retail offering with a physical showroom to boost our sales opportunities. DMF Project has ensured the entire process was straightforward and avoided any disruption to our business. Furthermore, they have delivered a high quality retail solution that optimises the use of our facility in Brierley Hill."

Derek Scott, Sales Director of DMF Projects said: "We have used our expertise and knowledge of both the retail and manufacturing sectors to create an enclosed showroom that meets Ashley Anderson's precise needs. By incorporating the mezzanine floor into the design, we have ensured high levels of space utilisation, whilst the rapid completion of the project in just 3 weeks has prevented any added costs or operational downtime."
