Zanini Moves its Management System to the Cloud with Infor CloudSuite Automotive

PARIS, November 3, 2015 – Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced that Zanini, a Spanish manufacturer of plastic components for the automotive industry, has selected Infor’s Cloudsuite Automotive software to support its strategic plan towards cloud-based applications.

Zanini is a tier-one supplier for OEMs in the automotive industry and a world leader in wheel trims. In recent years, the company has experienced international growth, currently owning seven production plants in Europe, Latin America and North America, as well as commercial offices in the United States and China.

The company has been using Infor’s on-premise software for more than a decade, and has finally switched to Infor CloudSuite Automotive, the cloud option running on Amazon Web Services.

Given the increasing complexity of the company’s operations, Zanini required a solution that would optimise business processes and enable control of a multi-site environment, but with personalised management designed for each of the group’s companies. In addition, the solution had to provide a single, global vision for the group’s management and be easy to integrate with other IT systems.

Infor CloudSuite Automotive has been specially configured to cover the automotive industry’s specific needs and to provide speedy access to cloud-based applications and information. It also provides specific industry analytics through a single user interface which delivers key knowledge on finance and the core metrics of the business.

Infor CloudSuite Automotive is expected to help Zanini improve response capacity for projects, save time and effort by eliminating unnecessary data and operations, and optimise current business processes with a minimal IT investment.
