A panel of experts is set to speak at Care Show Birmingham from 13th - 14th November 2012 on how providers can rise to the challenge of doing more with less in the community.

Run by mobile solution provider Skillweb, the discussion at 1pm in the Keynote Theatre on the 13th November will cover how the challenges that care organisations face can be addressed and the ways that quality versus quantity of provision can be balanced. Speakers will also cover where sector innovation can lead to accurate and improved funding for care on the ground, through mechanisms such as precise and efficient billing and increased family involvement.

Trevor Snaith, head of marketing at Skillweb, will chair the panel, which will include freelance consultant in Healthcare Policy, Graham Kendall; chair of the National Care Association, Nadra Ahmed, OBE; founder of YourCareHome, Mark Sadler; director and editor of www.careindustrynews.co.uk, Jackie Brook; and head of policy and communication at the United Kingdom Homecare Association, Colin Angel.

Mr Snaith commented: "The issues surrounding community care provision over the past year have been well documented, so this panel discussion is designed to stimulate debate amongst industry leaders about how best to drive improvement within the sector.

"We want to better understand how organisations can achieve higher levels of service delivery at a time when community requirements are increasing and budgets are being squeezed."

Skillweb will be at stand B48 throughout the duration of the event.
