Infor Makes Significant Investments in Infor Cloverleaf

Cloud Availability, Mobile Applications and Enhanced Analytics will Improve Quality at Leading Healthcare Organizations
Published 27 February 2014

NEW YORK– Feb. 27, 2014 – Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced today that significant investments are being made to support the Infor Cloverleaf Suite. The Infor Cloverleaf Suite is a leading clinical integration and information exchange solution that creates a sustainable foundation for healthcare organizations to proactively manage, coordinate, and share data across the care continuum. Additionally, it was recently named the Top Complex Data, Multi-organizational Heath Information Exchange Vendor solution by Black Book Market Research LLC.

Investments for upcoming functionality include the general availability of Infor Cloverleaf Cloud (expected for release March 2014), the next generation of Infor Cloverleaf 6.1 (currently targeted for release in spring of 2014) and updates to mobile use, enhanced analytics and web services, which are generally available today. Infor Cloverleaf Cloud is a SaaS-based solution that is deployed in a single-tenant hosted environment that is designed to be HIPAA-compliant and includes encryption, application monitoring and audit controls by ClearDATA, a leading healthcare cloud computing platform and service provider.

Deployment via the cloud offers reduced hardware costs, reduced application administration, scalability on demand and ease of management. Cloverleaf Cloud also allows organizations the flexibility to host the entire Cloverleaf Suite, individual add-ons within the Suite, or serve as a disaster recovery instance of an on-premise solution. “With time and resources being a constant challenge within the healthcare industry, Cloverleaf Cloud provides organizations with readily available resources and hosting infrastructure for supporting their data integration and interoperability needs,” said Steven Merten, vice president, Healthcare, Infor.

“The Infor Cloverleaf Suite is a product that we expect to continue to invest and innovate in because of the increased need to exchange patient information and improve the quality of patient care.” Later this year, Infor expects that Infor Cloverleaf 6.1 will have the new Infor User Experience platform integrated throughout the environment and will allow organizations to be more collaborative and personalize the application. Additional updates available now include; a new Android mobile application for Infor Cloverleaf Global Monitor, which allows users to manage and monitor Cloverleaf environments from anywhere on their mobile device, Infor Cloverleaf Exchange Analytics, which enables reporting around clinical measures and the next generation of the Infor Cloverleaf Web Services adapter, which helps users implement service-oriented integration patterns for health interoperability. Additionally, the Cloverleaf Web Services adapter has been extensively used in Europe to exchange patient-data between healthcare and insurance providers.
