Healthcare Organizations Set the Standard for High Quality, Safe Care with Infor
NEW YORK– Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced the continued momentum for Infor Healthcare, the company’s leading suite of solutions purpose-built to improve the integration, planning, tracking, and management of a healthcare organization's most vital resources - people, supplies, clinical data, and financial assets. According to Gartner, “Increasing levels of adoption in emerging markets and a return to normalcy of demand in mature regions will raise the five-year compound annual growth rate to 6.6 percent through 2017.”
Infor believes the Infor Healthcare business unit is outpacing the Gartner Forecast Analysis by achieving year-over-year growth. Solutions that comprise the Infor Healthcare suite include Infor Enterprise Performance Management, Infor Business Intelligence, Infor Lawson Enterprise Financial Management, Infor Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, Infor Lawson Supply Chain Management, Infor Human Capital Management (HCM), Infor Cloverleaf Integration and Information Exchange Suite and Infor Enterprise Asset Management
The company’s significant investments in the Infor Healthcare suite over the past year include the acquisition of CERTPOINT and PeopleAnswers to build out the Infor HCM suite of solutions and add learning and talent science capabilities, investments in Infor Cloverleaf and healthcare business intelligence, the launch of Infor Dynamic Enterprise Performance Management and Infor’s currently planned launch of Infor True Cost in fall of 2014, further investments in Hook & Loop - Infor’s in-house design agency responsible delivering the industry’s first consumer-grade experience to enterprise applications, new versions of Infor Lawson Enterprise Financial Management and Supply Chain Management, and various SaaS and mobile-enabled product enhancements.
“For University of Colorado Health to fulfill its promise on delivering high-quality, safe care, we needed to integrate systems and processes across multiple hospitals, satellite clinics and administrative centers. Only then could the combined system win efficiencies, harness scale and optimize care in the ways we envisioned,” said Peggy Dalious, director of Lawson/ERP applications, UCHealth. “One key to achieving those goals was by building a unified information technology system with Infor Lawson Financials, Supply Chain Management and Human Resources Management. We’re proud of our highly functioning supply chain, human capital and finance teams at UCHealth who constantly work with staff and department leaders to find innovative ways to increase productivity and avoid significant cost increases year-over-year while continuing to deliver very high-quality care to our patients.”
In addition to product updates, Infor has successfully brought live organizations of various sizes, and with various goals, onto the Infor Healthcare platform. Recently, teams at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare were able to improve processes and systems for managing compensation with Infor Human Capital Management applications. Since the go-live, the organization has been able to expand its healthcare service delivery
Summa Health System has also found success with Infor Healthcare applications including Financials, Supply Chain Management and Human Resource Management. “We’ve been successful in consolidating many administrative and clinical systems that serve as the backbone of our organization,” said Greg Kall, chief information officer, Summa Health System. “Infor Lawson Healthcare solutions are a core component of helping us move into the future – enabling us to move information around in a seamless, pragmatic and purposeful way.”
Infor healthcare solutions transform how people and systems work together to enhance both the quality of patient outcomes and viability of business operations. The newest Infor solutions are changing the way organizations work, with modernized user interfaces, social collaboration features, contextual intelligence, mobile support, and flexible cloud deployment options.
“The healthcare landscape is changing, we know this at Infor. We’re evolving our solutions to meet the specialized needs of our customers and innovating new solutions to combat the challenges we see our customers facing down the road,” said Kevin Curry, senior vice president, Healthcare, Infor. “Infor Healthcare solutions are used by thousands of leading organizations around the globe – and that in itself is a testament to the hard work we’ve put in to create solutions that truly make an impact on staff, operational needs and patient care.”
