DMF Project will increase the available space in the building by almost 45 per cent with the installation of a mezzanine floor to expand the workshop, trade counter and office area.

BS Burner Services had outgrown its existing premises in Stourbridge and identified a new site in Brierly Hill that could be developed to meet its changing needs. The company teamed up with DMF Projects to create an L-shaped mezzanine structure that increased available space to 8,500 sq ft and divided the facility into a number of defined areas to serve the different aspects of the operation.

On the ground floor a large drive-in workshop has been created using the full height of the building, with the mezzanine floor dividing the facility into two areas. The mezzanine has been partitioned off with a ceiling to floor firewall to separate the trade counter from the work area and create a storage area. Meanwhile, the upper floor has been split into a kitchen, toilets, reception area, open plan and partitioned office space, and meeting rooms.

David Gorst, Managing Director of BS Burner Services Ltd commented: "We needed alternative premises that would meet our current and future requirements in a cost-effective manner. DMF Projects has enabled us to make the most of the available space in the building, whilst creating a positive working environment for our employees."

Derek Scott, Sales Director at DMF Projects: "We can help businesses make best use of their premises to support ongoing growth and keep overheads to a minimum. We have worked closely with BS Burner to provide a complete solution that includes all design, planning approval and installation requirements.
