TC FACILITIES MANAGEMENT APPOINTS NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AS PART OF EXECUTIVE BOARD RESTRUCTURE

TC Facilities Management – one of the UK’s leading independent providers of integrated facilities management services – has announced several changes to its Executive Board, including the appointment of Richard Chappell as its new Chief Executive Officer. In a move designed to ensure continuity and facilitate future growth, the company’s shareholders have asked incumbent Chief Executive Officer, Paul Kennedy, to become Executive Chairman. Peter Ellis has moved into a Deputy Chairman role whilst Keith French has been appointed to the Board as Strategic Development Director.

His appointment represents a significant strengthening of our ranks and he has the full support of our shareholders. He joins the business at an exciting time as we continue to develop and strengthen our position in the integrated facilities management market. I look forward to working with Richard in continuing to provide a premium service to our customers and implementing our strategy for long term growth.” Richard joins TC Facilities Management from the Impellam Group, where he spent 16 years in several senior management roles, including Managing Director of Carlisle Security and four years as Chief Executive Officer for Carlisle Support Services.

During his earlier career, he worked for Aldi as District Manager and Lidl as Regional Director. Richard Chappell says: “I am very excited to be part of TC Facilities Management. The business has made significant progress under Paul’s leadership underlined by the recent acquisition of Equinox Security, which puts it in a very strong position to capture the exciting growth opportunities that lie ahead. Keith French joined TC Facilities Management over a year ago as FM Integration Director. During this time, he has helped develop the company’s offering into an integrated, best in class FM solution for cleaning, catering, security and essential soft services. Keith has previously worked for FM business, The Spotless Group, where he spent six years in FM development and national account management roles in Australia and two years establishing the company’s UK start up. In his new role he will be responsible for the future development of the brand, customer relationship model and FM strategy.
