Incentive QAS wins Cleaning Contract with the Clarendon Centre in Oxford

Following a competitive tender, Incentive QAS, the specialist cleaning arm of Incentive FM Group, has been appointed to provide all cleaning services at The Clarendon Centre in the heart of Oxford.

Following a competitive tender, Incentive QAS, the specialist cleaning arm of Incentive FM Group, has been appointed to provide all cleaning services at The Clarendon Centre in the heart of Oxford.

Incentive QAS beat six other bidders to win the contract, and all current cleaning staff at the shopping centre will transfer to Incentive from their current employer under TUPE. The win strengthens the centre’s sustainability credentials, as staff will be using the Nilfisk Ecoflex scrubber drier and Incentive’s new approved range of eco chemical products for maximum efficiency and minimum adverse environmental impact.

The shopping centre on Cornmarket Street, adjacent to historic Jesus College, contains a wide range of retail outlets. The contract will see Incentive QAS providing daily cleaning of public facing areas in the centre, as well as back of house areas, and includes cleaning of office accommodation in a tenanted building next to the centre. It also covers washroom services and high-level periodical cleaning.

Ginny Fellows, Centre Manager at the Clarendon Centre, commented: “Our previous cleaning supplier wasn’t offering us the level of management support that is provided by Incentive QAS, and now the centre and the cleaning team will benefit from regular management support visits and meaningful management information.  We were also impressed with Incentive QAS’ open book approach to the contract, which was a major influence on our decision to award them the contract.”
