Chemical manufacturing company ReAgent (http://www.reagent.co.uk) has invested £150,000 on machinery in its Cheshire production facility, with the addition of a new mixing tank to keep up with growing customer demand.

The tank, which compliments a bespoke mixing tank purchased earlier in 2015, will increase the company’s output from around 50 tonnes to 1400 tonnes, per year. It will also allow staff to configure the exact dosage and quantity for each product, increasing efficiency and reducing turnaround times for customers.

‘Looking to expand our capabilities’

Richard Hudson, managing director at ReAgent, said: “We are always looking to expand our capabilities on the factory floor - not just in the high quality of our products, but the quantity in which they are manufactured.

The tank features a control panel with pre-set configurations to determine the dosage of the product batch. With our extremely qualified and well experienced chemical manufacturers overlooking the process, it's sure to be both safe and much more efficient.”

With continued and significant growth forecasted for the next couple of years, ReAgent has seen its turnover rise 54% on 2014 – with July an incredible 71% up on the same month last year.

Alongside safeguarding existing jobs, the knock-on effect of this expansion has resulted in a recruitment drive for the chemical manufacturing company, with many newly-created positions filled recently (meet the team and find out what they do here: http://www.reagent.co.uk/blog/careers-at-reagent).
