Two new key staff members have joined the Vinyl Council of Australia, the peak association for vinyl value chain in Australia, to support the association’s sustainability objectives and collaborative initiatives.

Judith Voyce brings more than 20 years’ experience in the UK PVC industry to her new role as Technical and Market Development Manager, providing valuable technical input and expertise.

Her responsibilities include working with Council members on a variety of vinyl-related issues from product formulations, plasticisers and recycling to market development such as new PVC windows.

Jan van de Graaff has joined as PVC Stewardship Manager to coordinate the Council’s long-established and successful PVC Stewardship Program that has driven continual improvement in the Australian vinyl industry for 17 years.

Bringing more than 20 years’ experience working on recycling and stewardship programs for Government and wider product sectors, Jan works closely with around 50 signatory companies on their journey to a more sustainable industry.

Launched in 2002, the Australian PVC Stewardship Program binds Signatories to continuous improvement in the environmental footprint of their products, whether they manufacture locally or source product from overseas.

Sophi MacMillan, Chief Executive of the Vinyl Council of Australia comments: “I’m delighted to welcome Judith and Jan to our team where their combined expertise and experience will be an asset in driving forward our work on the industry’s sustainable development.”
