Resonate Interiors completes fit-out for Crowell & Moring’s London office
Resonate Interiors is proud to announce their successful completion of a new fit-out project for Crowell & Moring, a prominent US legal firm's London office, located in the City of London, within the Broadgate estate.
The design incorporated natural elements throughout the project; oak veneers were used in wall panelling, reception and the cafe. The controlled palate of ‘Real’ neutral finishes was contrasted with black accents throughout to reflect the client’s brand across their other offices. Molteni Group UK Ltd supplied the office desking and Resonate worked closely with them to tailor their standard product to meet client requirements and with the furniture suppliers in the overall selection process
The project features a cellular office layout with 2, 4 and 6 person offices arranged around the majority of the building perimeter and the extensive use of glass within the design ensures natural light permeates the whole of the floorplate. A Staff Cafe is located on the perimeter with views spanning the length of Bishopsgate. All workstations are height adjustable, and a central open plan town hall area provides space for flexible collaboration.
Acoustics was a primary concern for this legal practice and featured heavily within the design. Maximising acoustic performance room to room and internally, acoustic wall panels were fitted in all offices and fabric work wall finishes were added to the desking.
As always, Resonate operated with sustainability in mind- all materials, finishes and products are European or UK manufactured, and Resonate worked to provide alternative products and materials from the standards provided by the design architect to eliminate imports from the US where necessary.
Resonate provided the FF&E for this project, pairing minimalist silhouettes with character items and earthy textures that celebrate the handmade. Cast iron, ceramic and natural materials complement the overall design, their forms contrasting with the minimal aesthetic.
