Pectel Director appointed to ARCA Governing Council

The Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) has beenrepresenting the interests of UK asbestos removal contractors forover 20 years.

Darren Wickins of Pectel (A Keltbray Division) has been appointed to ARCA's Governing Council as a Director of the body, following a career dedicated to the asbestos industry.

Darren has worked within the Asbestos industry for the last 15 years and of those, eight years have been dedicated to Keltbray. Darren has been involved in leading the decontamination of many significant demolition projects. These include the removal of sprayed asbestos coating to the entire 22 storey steel structure at Twenty Fenchurch Street and more recently, the removal of asbestos from the Grade II listed Quadrant 3 for the Crown Estate.

Following his election Darren commented: "It is a tremendous honour to be appointed to the ARCA Governing Council and I look forward to giving my full support to help ensure the quality of services ARCA provides to the industry is maintained."
