Leading eVTOL company strengthens expertise with key hires

Following their recent successes, eVTOL innovators ARC Aerosystems, are building the next chapter of their journey by welcoming 2 new senior members to the team.

These new hires bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company, further strengthening its position as a pioneer in the rapidly-evolving eVTOL industry.

Having recently unveiled their new Linx P9 concept for passenger transport, and buoyed by the success of their test flights on the C150 and C600 eVTOL craft With these additions to the team, ARC will continue in their mission of developing safe, reliable, and sustainable eVTOL solutions for a variety of use cases, from urban air mobility to cargo transport and beyond.

With over 40 years in the aviation industry, Dennis Scott joins as the Supply Chain Director, and will be supporting the team across wider business development and technical definition and execution.

“I have been most fortunate to have been involved in a wide range of fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft development programmes, world-wide, and joining ARC is an exciting next step.

“The P9 concept was what truly impressed me, promising a step-change in operating economics compared to traditional helicopters,” Dennis said.

Alongside Dennis is senior Advisor Chris Gear, who said joining ARC has offered an important opportunity to share his expertise and make a difference:

“Joining the ARC team means I can pass back my knowledge and experience to their projects, which are creating a new way of flying for the benefit of the aerospace industry. “I’ve found the drive and enthusiasm of the whole team at ARC to find a solution to the unique set of challenges , as presented by the Linx concept vehicle, incredibly exciting.”

For ARC CEO Seyed Mohseni, the new additions are an important part of achieving the next stages of aircraft development.

“We are really pleased to be strengthening the team at a crucial part in our journey, with recent investment in our initial aircraft concepts, and growing interest in our latest model, Dennis and Chris will be vital members of the team.

“As we move towards the development of the P9, and expand our aviation capabilities for both the benefit of the environment and enhanced mobility, the expertise that they bring will drive our work forwards.”
