Working across two floors of the James Watt Building, which will remain operational throughout the project, ISG will create three new research offices, additional laboratory space, a new reception and break out areas. The scheme includes the installation of new mechanical and electrical infrastructure and ISG will additionally upgrade the roof covering on the building, with the project scheduled for completion in the summer.

ISG continues to build upon its reputation for high quality and efficient project delivery within the Scottish education sector, most recently securing a £4.5 million contract at New College Lanarkshire adding to previous schemes at the University of Dundee, including a £4.1 million extension at the Ninewells Hospital site.

Alan McCarthy-Wyper, managing director of ISG’s Construction business, commented:
“Education remains an important sector for the business across the UK and we see growing opportunities within the Scottish market from both our existing customer base and those institutions looking for intelligent and high quality construction services solutions.”
