A new branch in the South East has been opened by specialist distributor Nevill Long.

Specialist interior building products distributor Nevill Long has expanded its national network of branches with the opening of a new one in Maidstone, Kent.

The branch, on St Michaels Close, Forstal Industrial Estate, Aylesford, shares 35,0002ft over two industrial units with sister company Encon Insulation and will offer the complete range of leading interior brands available through Nevill Long including Armstrong Ceilings, Rockfon, Knauf, British Gypsum and Siniat as well as Nevill Long’s Longline own-brand range of products.

Opened in response to increasing demand from customers in London and the South East, the Maidstone team of six is managed by branch manager Neil Peaper and is now complemented by Stephen Batten who has been recruited as a Nevill Long senior sales specialist.

Nevill Long managing director Dave Bonner said:

“The opening of Nevill Long Maidstone forms parts of our continued strategic expansion plan into the interiors market.

“There has been a gap on the map for our business in Kent and the South East is where much of the demand is these days, and there has been enough of an upturn in the market for us to justify this investment for our customers. Previously they would have been supplied through our London branches but investment in Maidstone will mean an improved service to contractors in this region.”

The new Maidstone branch takes the total number of Nevill Long branches to 14, with further new openings planned as part of the company’s strategic expansion plan.
