Keyline Strenthens Utilites Division with Senior Appointment
Keyline, the leading specialist supplier of utilities, civil engineering and rail materials and solutions, has appointed a senior manager to continue the next phase of growth within its utilities division. John Oakes joins as National Sales Office Manager: Utilities, and will be responsible for managing the pricing of Keyline’s utilities offering to the water, power, telecoms and gas industries, as well as developing the company’s service proposition.
John, who has over 30 years of sales experience within the construction industry, joins Keyline from Jewsons, where he held the position of Branch Manager. Between 1993 and 2013, John worked as a Business Manager at Burdens, where he managed one of the company’s biggest depots. Prior to that he worked for BRB and Hepworth, where he began his career working in the yard in 1983.
Commenting on his appointment, John said: “I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to come and work for Keyline, which has a fantastic reputation across the industry. I’m looking forward to building on the excellent work carried out by the company over the last few years in order to further cement its position as a market leader.”
