Over the duration of the project, Keyline will supply over 4km of CPM concrete pipe, 250km of Polypipe plastic drainage, enough Marshalls Linear Drainage to drain an area 10 times the size of Hampden Park and enough catchpits and concrete chambers to fill 3 full size football pitches.  Keyline will also supply geotextiles, manhole covers and other civils products to assist the construction of the 58km road. Throughout the longevity of the contract Keyline complies with stringent regulations whilst ensuring deliveries are sourced and delivered at the right time, to the correct locations, and always in full. Deliveries are made via a fleet of dedicated vehicles, each boasting a wide-range of safety, security and performance features.

The AWPR/B-T will consist of four sections: Balmedie to Tipperty; Northern Leg, from North Kingswells to Blackdog; Southern Leg, from Charleston to North Kingswells; and Fastlink, from Stonehaven to Cleanhill. The project will help to cut congestion and pollution, improve journey times and boost the local economy.

Graham Christie, the Deputy Project Director for the AWPR/B-T CJV, said: “The Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route/Balmedie to Tipperty is one of the most exciting and impressive projects currently under construction within the UK. We chose to work alongside Keyline due to the company’s proficiency in sourcing and efficiently delivering the most appropriate solutions for specialist developments of any kind.”

Kieran Griffin, Managing Director of Keyline, said: “We are thrilled to support the delivery of a project of such significance, and one that will greatly benefit the people of the north east in Scotland. Our ability to offer both world-class levels of service and value for money is a significant reason behind our growth and ongoing success.”

Gary Miller Manager Keyline Nationals Glasgow said, “My team in Glasgow are working with our supply chain partners to ensure the project goes as smoothly as possible. There are various logistical challenges which we have encountered and overcame in the last year and will continue to do so until project completion”
