FIXMART INVESTS IN NEW COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE TO HELP MITIGATE RISK

Fixmart, a leading supplier to the construction, M&E and HVAC sectors, has invested in a new centralised communications system for its delivery drivers in London. The service has been designed in response to the increasing security measures and tight delivery windows being introduced at construction sites across London.

The new communications service allows drivers to contact the site, via a dedicated customer services team, to give them a 15-minute warning before a delivery is due and to advise of any possible delays. It will help to avoid missed deliveries and potential penalties, providing a more efficient and streamlined service.

These changes have been designed to further strengthen the company’s industry-leading delivery solution which includes next day and timed deliveries on orders placed before 5pm.

Carl Ghinn, Managing Director at Fixmart, said: “We understand the challenges faced by contractors working on sites in London and the South East, and we are always looking at new ways of addressing them. This latest initiative is part of our commitment to helping our clients to mitigate risk and respond to unexpected issues on site.”
