Armstrong launches new distribution service in the Middle East

Move will help contractors complete projects more quickly and easily.
Published 29 June 2018
Armstrong Ceiling Solutions is set to slash lead times for the supply of ceiling system solutions with the launch of a new distribution service for Middle Eastern countries.

The warehouse at Jebel Ali Port, the busiest port in the Middle East, comprises up to 100,000m2 of state-of-the-art storage facilities and will hold a wide range of Armstrong ceiling systems that will be available to hundreds of contractors within one to two weeks.

These include tiles such as Dune Supreme (Board, Tegular and MicroLook) and Dune Max Board, Ultima+ (Board, Tegular and MicroLook) and Fine Fissured (Board and Tegular), as well as compatible suspension systems such as Prelude 15 and 24, and perimeter trim solutions

The move gives Armstrong additional local control over the distribution of its quality alternative ceiling system solutions that come complete with a peerless 30-year system warranty.

The arrangement is bound to prove popular as contractors will pay only for what they need at the time and not a percentage of the overall project value, enabling them to complete projects more quickly and easily.

Manned by dedicated Armstrong staff, the distribution centre will service the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait in a fraction of the time Armstrong product used to be available.

UAE sales director Mohamed Khaled said: “I think our new distribution service is a very significant development that is not only going to be very well-received by our customers but will also enable us to access parts of the market we were not able to before.”

More information is accessible via the Armstrong Ceilings website.
