LinesearchbeforeUdig Limited (LSBUD) will be exhibiting at its first event of 2017 at the National HAUC Convention at The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, on 21 March 2017.
HAUC(UK) has set out its key strategic objectives to make it fit for purpose by future-proofing its systems, processes and behaviours as we move into a world of more people; more traffic; and more housing and infrastructure development, all of which will require more road and street works.
In attending the HAUC(UK) Convention, you will learn how we are looking to develop the industry in terms of systems; skills and training; technology and innovation; communication; and performance - the key building blocks to support world class assets and systems.
Come and add value by interacting with industry experts, and have your say in round table debates, both on our strategic aims, and the issues you face daily. The programme is available to download HERE
Free attendance is restricted to HAUC/RAUC members (i.e.: staff of highway/roads authorities and utility companies), JAG(UK) and NJUG members but corporate colleagues may attend at a cost of £175 + VAT.
LinesearchbeforeUdig will be in Section C of the Caernarfon Suite which is on Convention Level C1 of the Resort Hotel.
You can book your delegate place and/or exhibition stand here

LinesearchbeforeUdig (LSBUD) is a free to use online search service that any individual (“User”) can use to check works against over 60 asset owners’ (“Members”) utility assets. These assets include hundreds of thousands of kilometres of underground and overhead pipes and cables in the electricity, gas, high pressure fuel, water and fibre optic networks. The LSBUD service processes over 1.75 million enquiries per annum- that’s more than one every 18 seconds.
The service is designed to be used by anyone that needs to know where utility assets (pipes and cables) are in order to work safely. This includes:
- Fencing installers
- Private Individuals
…and many more. Enquiries can be for simply checking what is there for future requirements or for immediate use, i.e. for an urgent excavation. Works can be of any scale from a highway scheme to simply replacing a garden fence.
