The Medaille Trust operates a network of safe houses across the UK that are designed to support modern slavery survivors, and PMP is now assisting residents at two of the charity’s locations based in the North West. The organisation has already found placements for six people to work within one of their leading client’s distribution centres, where PMP provides an on-site managed services solution. As part of the initiative, the recruitment specialist is liaising with Jobcentre Plus to organise training opportunities for a number of potential candidates that lack key skills.

Jamie Reynolds, Managing Director of PMP Recruitment, said: “With our National Resource Centre located at Salford Quays in Greater Manchester, PMP Recruitment has a strong connection to the North West, which is also home to a number of our clients. This initiative provides us with the opportunity to help those poor survivors as they look to take steps to rebuild their lives and careers. Each year, The Medaille Trust delivers fantastic support to many people and their teams deserve enormous recognition.”

In September 2017, Cordant Group announced it would become the UK’s largest organisation to adopt a social enterprise model, and that in time it would reinvest profits into a variety of initiatives and programmes that are designed to enhance society and change lives.
