PMP Launches New Onboarding Programme to Prioritise L&D for New Starters

PMP Recruitment, part of Cordant Group, has launched an innovative onboarding programme for new starters that prioritises the immediate development of employee’s key skills. The scheme, called Fundamentals, has been designed to improve learning, wellbeing and staff retention figures, whilst further increasing the quality of service each employee provides when working within a client’s facility.
 
Devised by senior and operational project groups, together with the L&D department, Fundamentals is an eight-week-long programme that is now available to new Managers, Site Consultants and In-Branch Colleagues, covering a multitude of subjects including compliance, health and safety, policy and procedure, and personal development. The business expects that more than 150 new starters will partake in Fundamentals each year.
 
Fundamentals is supported by an online portal that hosts a range of resources, including PMP’s Learning Heroes programme, workbooks, guides, and other e-learning tools. New employees can access Fundamentals via the microsite, enabling them to complete designated modules when required. In addition, each person taking part in the programme will be given Learning Reviews with their line manager to ensure they are benefiting from the training.
