Fearless fundraisers from Cordant People have raised more than £3,000 for Centrepoint by sleeping rough in Manchester. Seven colleagues braved the cold as they took part in the event, which was also designed to raise awareness of youth homelessness.

The team ventured out into the cold at 6.30pm and set up their sleeping bags, however spirits remained high as they supported each other throughout the night. The team consisted of:  Kelly Kendall, Managing Director Cordant people, Natasha Douglas,  Alex McPake, Amy Creswell, Erin Smith, Joshua Whiting and Lauren Miller.

Commenting on the event, Julie Paget-Chapman from Centrepoint, said: “Our sleep out event is a fun experience, but it has a serious side to it. Homelessness in Manchester is on the increase and it is vital that we continue to raise awareness and funds to try and break the cycle. It’s fantastic to have the support of our partners like Cordant Group, to raise not only vital funds but also awareness of youth homelessness in the region.”
