February 23 2017 - Mulfingen, St. Georgen. Dirk Schallock is resigning from ebm-papst St. Georgen - Dirk Schallock (50) will be leaving ebm-papst St. Georgen at his own request on 28 February 2017. Since 2009, Mr. Schallock was in charge of the company belonging to the ebm-papst Group which has its headquarters in Mulfingen. During this time, ebm-papst St. Georgen (approx. €350 million turnover / 1 500 staff), together with the plants in Herbolzheim and Lauf, grew and developed into the technologically leading manufacturer of fans and drive systems, mainly for the automotive industry and the mechanical engineering sector.
The ebm-papst Group is the world's leading manufacturer of fans and motors. Since its foundation, the technology company has continuously set global market standards. Developments have ranged from electronically controlled EC fans, through aerodynamic improvements of fan blades, and on to the resource-conserving selection of materials, with sustainable materials being just one option.
