INCENTIVE FM REACHES NEW HEIGHTS WITH DOUBLE CHARITY CLIMB
Courageous colleagues Incentive FM, the leading independent facilities management company, overcame aching limbs and painful blisters to successfully complete the Twin Peaks Challenge this week. The determined walkers raised £7,000 for charity Scotty’s Little Soldiers during the 24-hour challenge.
The team - comprising of Bruce McDonnell, Mark Stevens, Glenn Wilson, Claire Rumsey, Steve Alderson, Susan Louwerse, Sheryl Inman, Andy Robbins, Adam Cross, Annie Karastoyanova and Ben Punter – climbed 3,220ft to reach the summit of Scarfell Pike in Cumbria, before driving to Fort William to scale Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK at 4,412ft.
Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting children and young people who have lost a parent whilst serving in the British Armed Forces.
Bruce McDonnell, Managing Director at Incentive FM, said: “Huge congratulations to our energetic team who battled cold conditions to climb these two mountains either side of a long 25-hour drive to the Scottish Highlands. We have raised a substantial amount of money for a fantastic and worthwhile cause, which will make a huge difference to those who have lost parents in tragic circumstances.”
